Power shortfall climbs to 4,000 MW LAHORE: The total shortfall of electricity across the country has increased to 4,000 MW.

Load-shedding up to 12 hours is being undertaken in the urban areas of Punjab while in rural areas the duration is up to 18 hours.

The load-shedding continues across the country adding to the hardship of both domestic and commercial consumers of electricity.
