Petition challenges raise in judges number thr’ FB ISLAMABAD: The step regarding increasing the number of higher judiciary through Finance Bill has been challenged in Islamabad High Court on Wednesday.

Azhar Maqbool Advocate, challenging the raise in number of higher judiciary judges through Finance Bill, opined that this was an illegal measure, as the number of higher judiciary should be raised through the Parliament approval.

IHC Justice Syed Kalb-e-Hasan decided after the preliminary hearing that the case will be heard on daily basis.
