 HANGU: Police arrested four Taliban along with arms after an encounter with them in District Hangu.
An exchange of fire took place between police and local Taliban in Do Aba area of Hangu, police sources said.
A number Taliban fled in their vehicles amid exchange of fire. However, police managed to put a cordon around one of the vehicles and succeeded in apprehending four Taliban.
Four hand grenade, two pistols and one SMG gun was recovered from their possession, police said.
During initial investigation the group confessed its links with Baitullah Mehsud, police added. |  |
