| GEO World | 3 believed dead in small plane crash in Ore. | Updated at: 0913 PST, Thursday, August 12, 2010 BURNS: The Federal Aviation Administration says three people are believed dead in the crash of a twin-engine plane in eastern Oregon.
FAA spokesman Ian Gregor says the Aero Commander 500B went down Wednesday morning about 70 miles south of Burns.
Both he and FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer say they have no details on the three people aboard, nor on the circumstances of the crash.
FAA inspectors from Boise, Idaho, have responded, along with a National Transportation Safety Board investigator.
The plane is registered to a Bonsall, Calif., man but it was not known if the owner was aboard. |  | | | |
