 KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) began reviewing the list of documents for the on time provision of agricultural loans, Geo News reported Friday.
According to a notification issued by the central bank, the banks have been directed to set up special and discrete departments for these loans with appointments of experts on agri-loans.
Every bank has been directed to specify the amounts for the area wise disbursement of these loans.
Besides, the documents’ endorsement, their processing and issuance on the spot would be ensured.
The notification further directs the banks to apprise the central bank after taking the approval on the process from their respective Board of Directors until December 31, 2010. |  | | | |
