N Waziristan: Security forces kill 5 extremists WANA: Five extremists were killed and four others wounded when security forces pounded their hideouts in Ladha district of North Waziristan while a security man was martyred in Angur Adda by a mortar shell coming from the other side.

According to sources the security forces targeted extremists hideouts with heavy bombing in Kandao area of district Ladha, killing 5 terrorists and injuring 4 others.

On the other hand Afghan forces fired a shell from the Paktia province of Afghanistan that landed on a border check post in Angur Adda, killing one soldier and injuring 11 others.

Meanwhile 4 dead bodies of pro Baitullah Mehsud people have been found in Kariwam, Jandola. These people had been kidnapped by Turkistan Betni Group on Wednesday. Those killed have been identified as Muslim Khan, Saeed, Qadir Khan and his son Shakoor Khan.

In a separate event unknown armed men attacked the office of a peace committee and injured 2 of its members in Tank.
