Sonakshi to replace Kat in The Italian Job

Updated at: 1544 PST,  Friday, August 20, 2010
Sonakshi to replace Kat in The Italian Job MUMBAI: The game of replacement in Bollywood is common. It is not a surprise to see an actor replacing the other in a project. The latest replacement game is on play between Katrina Kaif and the newcomer Sonakshi Sinha.

Sonakshi, veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, is a new face in the gleaming and glittering world of Bollywood. The face is yet to be seen in Dabangg, an upcoming action flick starring Salman Khan. No sooner than she stepped into the tinsel town did she start playing the replacement game.

As per reports from the industry that is red in tooth and claw, Sonakshi may replace the present ruling beauty of Bollywood Katrina Kaif in The Italian Job that Abbas Mustan will be directing. Prior to the release of her first movie and the spread of her magic, the Dabangg heroine is already being offered roles in more movies.

After Katrina quit the project, as Aditya Chopra thought her role in Italian Job to be not meaty enough, Abbas Mustan is in talks with Sonam Kapoor to essay the role of the leading female character.

If Sonam refuses to go with the offer, Sonakshi has chances to be approached for the role. Italian Job will also star three Bollywood hunks – Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
