Sindh floods affect over 3.6 mn people KARACHI: The number of people affected by floods has crossed 3.6 million in Sindh while over 600,000 displaced are being shifted to relief camps.

Director Operations Disaster Management Authority (DMA) Sindh Khair Muhammad Kalhoro told Geo News that 3.684237 million people have become victim of the destruction unleashed by the devastating floods in Sindh.

According to statistics obtained by DMA Sindh from different districts, 1447 relief camps have been set up in the province where 610,614 affectees are taking refuge. The numbers show that the floods perished 126,216 livestock and ripe crops spreading on a land area of 1.555359 acres.
