 NURPUR NORANGA: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is with the flood-affected people and all possible steps will be taken for their relief and rehabilitation.
Speaking to a large public gathering here, he said that the amount allocated for development projects will now be utilized for relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
He said that the people have elected his party for five years and we will complete our tenure. He said that his party gave self-respect to the poor masses.
The prime minister said that the party has empowered people as per dream of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said that we are fulfilling all our promises, which we made to the people.
He said that we have restored the 1973 constitution, which was revoked by a dictator. He said that we have given powers to the provinces.
Prime Minister Gilani said that we are aware of people’s problems and steps are being taken for their redressel. He said that sense of deprivation of the people of Southern Punjab will be removed. |  | | | |
