Sonakshi climbing filmdom stairs, thanks to Salman

Updated at: 1115 PST,  Sunday, August 22, 2010
Sonakshi climbing filmdom stairs, thanks to Salman MUMBAI: People are just waiting to taste the acting talent of Shatrugan Sinha’s beloved daughter Sonakshi.

But the darling is already going great guns in the industry, bagging offers and making impressions around – all thanks to her mentor who gave her debut movie ‘Dabangg’.

Yeah, industry’s gossip mills are raving about this all the while… The ‘Dabangg’ beauty is getting all-round attention from the ‘star with big heart’, who is making her feel special and taking care of her career needs.

Among these rumours it’s heard that Sonakshi has bagged the lead role in Sajid Nadiadwala’s film, which in fact was meant for Deepika Padukone. It’s all because of Salman, of course. And in this movie as well, Sinha will be paired opposite to Khan.

Besides, the fresh one is also being considered for Abbas Mastan’s remake of ‘The Italian Job’ (starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol and Neil Nitin Mukesh). Well, after Katrina Kaif left the project, Sonam Kapoor was replaced for her role. But it seems the tables have turned now and Sonakshi will take her place instead.

Hmmm, looks like Salman has got yet another chance to play a godfather to a newcomer.
