| Policemen among 9 killed as police van blown up in Bannu|

BANNU: At least nine people including six policemen have been killed when a police van blown up with explosives at Karam bridge in Bannu on Thursday.
According to sources, a time bomb was planted at the bridge that went of when a police van was passing through it. The van later fell into the dry portion of the Karam River.
The van was traveling towards jail from police line. The deceased have been identified as policemen Naeem Khan, Muhammad Jan, Inayatullah, Naib Khan, Musllahuddin and Wajid Rahim and two civilians Safan and Waheedur Rehman. Thirteen people sustained injuries in the blast.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Bannu Hospital where emergency has been announced.
