 PESHAWAR: Suicide attacks at a camp of security forces killed five persons including himself and injured 37 including a security officer here in Darra Adam Khel on Friday.
The attackers riding in three explosives-laden vehicles attempted to target a security checkpost near Kohat tunnel
The first vehicle entering the checkpost blew up with the firing of the security personnel. The second vehicle exploded after hitting the boundary wall while the driver of the third escaped after leaving the vehicle outside the gate of the checkpost.
Five persons were killed and 36 security personnel injured besides Inspector William Johnson. The wounded were brought to CMH hospital.
Earlier, miscreants destroyed with explosives two important bridges at Indus Highway, suspending the traffic moving from Karachi to Peshawar. |  |
