 NEW YORK: Olympic record holder Michael Phelps participated in a swimming programme of youth undergoing in New York and gave swimming tips to children present there.
Michael Phelps, who won eight gold medals in the Beijing Olympics, atteneded the swimming programme of youth which is underway at Manhattan.
He spent some time with these children and gave them tips regarding swimming.
He also gave a cheque of $20,000 to YMCA to encourage the youth.
Michael Phelps said on the occasion that he is very happy to see enthusiasm for swimming in the youth. |  |
