SJC mulls over corruption charges on judges ISLAMABAD: Supreme Judicial Council held a meeting to review the corruption charges leveled against two High Court judges, Geo News reported Saturday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry presided over the meeting at Supreme Court premises.

Present at the council meeting were senior judges of the Supreme Court justice Javed Iqbal and justice Sardar Raza Khan, chief justice Lahore High Court justice Khwaja Sharif, chief justice Peshawar High Court Tariq Pervez and registrar Supreme Court Dr Faqir Hussain.

The meeting reviewed the complaints of monetary irregularities against two judges of the Sindh and Lahore high courts, justice Afzal Soomro and justice Abdul Shakoor Paracha.
