PM terms Balochistan visit ‘successful’ QUETTA: Prim Minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani Sunday termed as successful his visit to Balochistan.

Talking to media here, the Prime Minister said Rs42 billion have been allocated for development of Balochistan.

During his brief stay he met with CM Baluchistan Nawab Aslam Raisani, Governor, PPP members and other coalition partners. CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, provincial minister Qadir Magsi and MNA Faryal Talpur also joined the negotiations.

The Premier said it with confidence that Asif Zardari will walk emerge victorious in the upcoming presidential election. “We want support from Baluchistan Assembly as they support us in impeaching president,” he said.

He also urged upon the Balochistan legislators to vote for Asif Zardari if they want to see federation intact.

Answering a question over military operation in Baluchistan, Prim Minister said Rehman Malik will take up the issue on an appropriate forum.
