 POL prices likely to hike from September

POL prices likely to hike from September KARACHI: The prices of petroleum products are expected to go up by 60 paisas to Rs1.50 from September 1st, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Talking to Geo News, the sources privy to oil marketing companies said an uptick was witnessed in oil prices in international market during August.

The sources remarked that petrol price is expected to soar by 60 paisa and diesel by Rs1.40.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has hammered out a preliminary summary for the hike in POL prices.

The Ogra will announce new prices on August 31.
