ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry has said Wednesday dispense of justice would become impossible without supremacy of constitution, rule of law and an independent judiciary, Geo News reported.
"People deserve to be dispensed justice as par constitution", he said. This CJP said while holding meeting with a delegation comprising 30 lawyers and judges from Mandi Bahauddin Bar Association here at Supreme Court.
On the occasion, CJP also took oath from bar’s newly elected officials . He said, "Hegemony of justice cannot be earned without cooperation of bars."
CJP urged lawyers to highlight corrupt elements existing in judiciary with concrete evidences. |  | | | |
