 President, Governor Sindh discuss law, order

 ISLAMABAD: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad Friday called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Presidency and discussed matters regarding law and order situation in the province and status of various development projects.

Talking to Governor Sindh, President Zardari said all possible steps would be taken to end the incidents of violence and target killings in Karachi.

He said instability in Karachi would have its impact on business and economic activity in the whole country.

The situation following the killing of Baluchistan Excise Minister Rustam Jamali in Karachi was also discussed.

The President directed that culprits involved in this heinous incident be apprehended and steps be taken to avoid such acts in the future.

The Governor said provincial government had taken active measures to halt violent activities and restore peace and stability in Karachi.

He also apprised the President about the current development activities in the province.
