KARACHI: Four more people have been killed and 19 others injured in separate incidents of violence that continue for the sixth consecutive day following the assassination of Raza Haider, MPA and leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on August 2.
Tension persists in different parts of the city including Ali Garh, Banaras, Bukhari Colony and Qasba Colony despite presence of check posts set up by police and Rangers.
Hanif, aged 23 years, was tortured and killed at Super Highway while a 25 year old man was shot dead in Gosht Market, Ali Garh Colony. In Manghopir area unknown armed assailants fired and killed uncle and nephew – Sardar Khan, 40, and Zikria, 30.
Eighteen people injured in the separate incidents of violence in the city have been shifted to Qatar Hospital. |  | | | |
