 Three shot dead in Sialkot

Three shot dead in Sialkot SIALKOT: At least three persons were gunned down and six received fatal bullet injuries as unknown militants opened indiscriminate and aimless fire on several people here at a cricket ground on Friday, Geo news reported.

According to police, the incident occurred at the time when some boys were busy playing cricket here at a local cricket ground on Friday evening when three masked miscreants entered ground and opened indiscriminate fire on them.

Subsequently, three persons Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Sabbir and another unknown person were left dead and six sustained injuries who were immediately move to hospital for medial treatment. In the meantime, the offenders managed to flee the scene, witnesses said.

Three among injured people were stated to be critical in condition, hospital sources said.

Police termed the incident as old family feud but registered cases against unknown culprits and commenced investigation, witnesses said.
