 KARAK: Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDC) has discovered oil and natural gas with its Nashpa No. 1 exploratory well, drilled in Karak district in NWFP.
The well flowed 4,200-barrel oil and 17 mmcfd of natural gas per day.
OGDC officials told Geo News that the discovery was made upgradation of the Nashpa Well-1 in Karak.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Government Holding Petroleum Limited are jointly working on this discovery.
Earlier, 3000 barrels of oil and 9.7 mmcfd gas had been discovered from the same place on August 31. 2009. |  |
