 Army chief visits Kot Addu flood affectees

 KOT ADDU: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited the relief camps of flood-affected people and the field hospital set up Australia, Geo News reported Sunday.

The Army Chief arrived at Army Aviation Base Multan where Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Shafqat Ahmed received him. Later on, the Army Chief left for Kot Addu, where he visited field hospital established by Australia.

He consoled patients there and thanked the hospital crew for their cooperation in providing healthcare facilities.

Subsequently, Kayani visited relief camps of the flood affectees and participated in Eid fanfare convened for the affectees and inspected the relief goods to be distributed among the flood affected people.

Later on, he left for Multan.
