TOKYO: Green tea has been recommended by various experts as a natural boost to health and treatment for number of aliments like headache, depression due to its antioxidant properties.
Recent study has shown that regular intake of green tea can reduce the risk of heart disease and death due to it. Researchers from University of Montpellier, France, University of Parma, Italy, and University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, reached at the findings after analyzing data collected from 60 hamsters.
Research team concluded that green and black tea and raspberry, strawberry and bilberry juices can reduce the risk of heart disease by preventing building up of the fatty deposits in arteries.
