Take That in live show reunion

Updated at: 1041 PST,  Monday, September 13, 2010
Take That in live show reunion LONDON: Reunited Take That stars Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow performed live together for the first time in 15 years, singing new single "Shame" which is based on their once stormy relationship.

The two members of the band took to the stage in front of 60,000 people in London at a concert in aid of the Help For Heroes charity which supports the country's armed forces.

The pair embraced on stage in front of fans, in a sign they had buried the hatchet after years of animosity following the band's split.

Introducing Barlow to the stage, Williams said: "Have I got a treat for you, this is one of the most amazing moments in my professional career so far.

"It has been 15 years in the making."

Take That revealed in July that Williams was rejoining the boy band that dominated the pop scene in the 1990s.

He left in 1995 and went on to have a successful solo career and the remaining members of Take That disbanded in 1996.

The group reformed five years ago without Williams and have since enjoyed three number one singles and two successful tours.

Williams, who married US actress Ayda Field in California last month, was headlining the concert which also featured performances from a host of other stars and comedians.

Free tickets were given to injured members of the armed forces and their carers.
