 MIRANSHAH: The number of deaths mounted to 11 in a US drone attack in North Waziristan Agency (NWA), Geo News reported Tuesday.
According to sources, the US surveillance plane pounded a house with four missiles in Shawwal area of North Waziristan adjacent to Afghan province Paktia, killing at least nine people present at the house.
Various other people are also injured in the incident.
The people started relief activities under self-help basis after the attack and retrieved two more bodies raising the death toll to 11 while removing the rubble of the house.
It should be mentioned here that this is the tenth attack in North Waziristan during the current month.
The spy planes are still making low flights in the area. |
