TCP awards 75,000 metric tonnes sugar supply contract ISLAMABAD: Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has awarded contract for the supply of 75,000 metric tonnes of white sugar to M/s Al-Khaleej Sugar Mills of Dubai at $ 638 per tonne.

A TCP official said here Wednesday, the tender was floated on August 13, and the bidding held on August 29.

It may be noted that Al-Khaleej has secured three supply contracts out of five sugar tenders.

Meanwhile, two vessels carrying 250 containers of sugar has offloaded the cargo at Port Qasim. They have brought 5,758 MT of sugar out of 50,000 MT contract.
