Chief among 14 extremists killed in Kurrum blitz PARA CHANAR: At least 14 terrorists were killed including a key commander while another 9 sustained injuries in security forces’ shelling on Taliban hideouts in Chanak locality of Kurrum Agency, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to sources, security forces backed by gunship choppers shelled militants’ suspected sanctuaries in Chanak area located in the heart of Kurrum District, resulting in perishing 14 extremists and injuring 9 more.

The killed Taliban commander was identified as Siddiq Allah.

Meanwhile, three major hideouts including a training center were pounded during bombardment, officials confirmed.
