5 policemen injured in remote controlled bomb ambush in Dir PESHAWAR: At least five policemen were injured Monday while their mobile vehicle was partially damaged in a remote controlled bomb ambush in Thana Mandi area of lower Dir.

According to police sources, SHO of lower Dir Manda Police Muhammad Iqbal was on routine patrolling with his subordinates as the caravan came under remote controlled bomb explosion.

Resultantly, three gunners, a constable including SHO received minor injuries who then shifted to hospital for medical attainment.
