Ban Ki-Moon hosts dinners for world leaders NEW YORK: UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on Wednesday hosted a dinner in honour of world leaders attending the UN General Assembly Session.

Speaking at the reception, Ban Ki-Moon said United Nations is like a family which is facing many challenges. He said viewpoints or opinion could be different on these challenges but all were agreed on the point that these issues needed to be addressed.

“Only UN can provide the solution for these challenges,” he added.

In his address, UN Secretary Generally specially mentioned name of US President Bush. “Bush is attending the UN General Assembly session for the last time as President of USA,” he said, adding we are thankful to Bush for his role in UN.

Bush thanked Ban Ki-Moon and expressed best wishes for him.
