Safdar Abbasi asks President Zardari to mend his ways

Updated at: 2341 PST,  Friday, September 24, 2010
Safdar Abbasi asks President Zardari to mend his ways LAHORE: Senior leaders of Pakistan People’s Party Safdar Abbasi and Naheed Khan Friday said the government has failed in every department, urging President Asif Ali Zardari to mend his ways or else the government as well as PPP will be wiped out.

Talking to media men here at Lahore Airport, Safdar Abbasi said the government has gone astray from the agenda on the basis of which it came into power. He ruled out economic stability in the absence of political stability.

Abbasi said the people are suffering while the government is busy picking up unnecessary brawls with the judiciary. This will prove detrimental to the government, he warned.

He said President Zardari is accountable before the courts and that the Swiss cases should be reopened.
