BEIJING: China's first space walk was a "complete success", state-run media said, after an astronaut floated outside the Shenzhou VII spacecraft on Saturday for just under 15 minutes.
Zhai Zhigang, 41, had returned to the craft and taken off his specially-made suit, marking a successful end to his mission.
The space walk lasted less than 15 minutes, shorter than the originally scheduled 20 minutes. No explanation was immediately given for this. |  |
