Eleven Kashmiris, Indian soldier killed in IHK SRINAGAR: Indian troops killed 11 freedom fighters in Occupied Kashmir while one Indian soldier was also killed in a clash.

Seven Kashmiris and an Indian army soldier were killed in protracted gunbattles in the forests of Kangan, northeast of Srinagar, army spokesman Anil Kumar Mathur said.

Four other freedom fighters were killed in the Muslim-majority Kashmir valley in two separate battles, a police statement said Sunday.
