Chinese minister meets Rehman Malik ISLAMABAD: Chinese vice foreign minister Wu Dawei called on Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik here on Sunday.

Both leaders discussed bilateral issues including current law and order situation in the country and steps been taken to safe guard Chinese nationals working on various projects.

Mr. Wu Dawei reiterated the long friendship between china and Pakistan. He appreciated the efforts made by the government of Pakistan to release the two Chinese abducted persons.

He also reassured that china wants to contribute in the development of infrastructure of Pakistan. He further stated that china is looking forward for the first official visit of president Asif Ali Zardari to China next month.

Rehman Malik informed the visiting dignitary that Pakistan values pak china friendship and would be enhanced further in future.

Also present in the meeting were secretary interior Kamal Shah, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lou Zhouhai and other officials from foreign office.
