TEHRAN: Iran's conservative-dominated parliament voted on Thursday for 18 of the 21 members of the new cabinet proposed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, including the Islamic republic's first-ever woman cabinet minister.
Those rejected were two other women nominees and the energy ministry, which was to be headed by the current vice president Mohammad Aliabadi.
