Fire erupts in unit-103 of Guddu Power Station JACOBABAD: Guddu Thermal Power Station has caught fire causing suspension of power supply to various areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

According to JESCO sources fire suddenly erupted in unit-103 of the Power Station where efforts are underway to control the flames, while two helicopters have been called in from Karachi.

The incident has resulted in suspension of power supply to Kashmor, Kandhkot, Shikarpur, Thal, Jacobabad, Ghari Khero in Sindh and to District Jaffarabad, Naserabad, Chattar Tamboh and other areas in Balochistan.
