 Members differ on freezing of KSE100 index

 KARACHI: Members of Karachi Stock Exchange on Thursday established few differences over its decision to freeze the KSE100 index.

The general body meeting of KSE members has been called on Monday in which important decisions are expected. They would decide the proposals to keep the index at 9145 points or to remove the floor.

KSE sources say member of KSE have divided into two groups on this issue. One group was opposing to freeze KSE100 index while the other group was in its favour till the political and economical stability in the country.

There are fears that financial position of some members have weakened after markets witnessed more than 50 percent decline in recent months.
