BRAZILIA: Brazilian striker Ronald said that he has fully recovered from the knee injury and is now determined for returning to the team after gaining complete fitness.
Ronald had ruptured a tendon in his left knee while representing AC Milan in the series A match in February. He was expected to be sidelined for at least nine months but the Brazilian striker said that he has full recovered from his injury.
He just needs to gain fitness after which making place in the team is his dream. The three-time world player of the year has battled serious injuries throughout his career, including a right knee injury that kept him sidelined for nearly a year in 2000. He recovered in time to lead Brazil to the 2002 World Cup title, scoring two goals in the final against Germany. | |
