LAHORE: Punjab Governor Salman Taseer has claimed that the Pakistan People's Party’s presidential candidate, Asif Ali Zardari, would bag the majority of votes in the Punjab Assembly.
The governor told the media that the PPP would be able to win a surprising number of votes in the provincial assembly.
He also said that the PPP's provincial ministers would not resign from Shahbaz Sharif's cabinet and would continue being part of the coalition in Punjab. |  |
