QUETTA: Parliamentary leader of FATA MNAs, Muneer Orakzai says FATA MNAs will abstain from the Presidential elections on 6th September due to the on-going situation in the tribal areas.

The FATA MNAs also staged a token walk out of the National Assembly over the attack by ISAF forces in the Tribal areas and the government’s inability to stop the operation during the holy month of Ramazan

Muneer Orakzai while supporting the idea of a comprehensive briefing for parliamentarians on the operation in Tribal Areas said the attack on Pakistani soil by the foreigners is not acceptable
