ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Tuesday that Afghan President Hamid Karzai had urged him in a telephone call to reconsider a boycott of the Bonn conference over a deadly NATO strike.
"The Afghan president, while expressing his concern at the media reports, requested the prime minister to reconsider the decision as the conference was being convened for peace and stability in Afghanistan," said a statement from Gilani's office.
