Brother of gang-rape victim killed outside court

KARAK: The brother of a gang-raped victim was killed outside the local court here, Geo News reported Friday.

Alam Zaib Khattak, brother of Uzma Ayub, arrived at the local court of Takht Nasrati for hearing when unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot.

According to police, the culprits managed to escape under the cover of firing.

Police have cordoned off several areas in search of the perpetrators but there no arrests have been made yet.

It may be noted here that case of gang-raped victim Usma is under hearing at the local court.

Three policemen and others are among the respondents in the case.
