President Zardari leaves Dubai for Pakistan

DUBAI: President Asif Ali Zardari, who was in Dubai for nearly two weeks for medical treatment, has left the emirate for Pakistan, Geo News reported.

According to sources, preparations have been made to welcome the President in Karachi where he is expected to land after midnight.

The team of the President's security guards have left Islamabad for Karachi.

Sibt-e-Arif, Geo News correspondent in Dubai said that 10 to 12 vehicles including an ambulance were present in Dubai for President's protocol who is accompanied by his daughter.

In the President's plane all medical facilities as well as his personal doctor other medics were also present, Sibt-e-Arif told Geo News.

Earlier, the medical team of President Asif Ali Zardari declared him completely fit, allowing him to resume his official activities.

Security from Karachi Airport to Bilawal House has already been beefed in the anticipation of President's arrival.
