KARACHI:PML-F chief Pir Pagara is to be flown to London in an air ambulance for medical treatment within the next 36 hours.

Sources in Pagara’s family say that during his stay at the Aga Khan Hospital he underwent a surgery to remove a cyst.

Though the surgery was successful, sources add that after the procedure, Pir Pagara complained of shortness of breath, which was followed by some disorder in his kidney and a possible case of pneumonia.

Doctors at Aga Khan informed Pir Pagara’s family that although he is recovering, he is still suffering from an infection and hence could not be pronounced stable.

The doctors cited this as the reason why Pagara has been kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
