President Zardari and Altaf Hussain discuss security situation in Karachi

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain and President Asif Ali Zardari discussed the security situation in Karachi during a telephone conversation on Thursday.

The MQM Chief informed President Zardari about the murder of a party worker Mansoor Mukhtar and his brother Masood Mukhtar at the hands of gangsters from the outlawed Aman’s Committee in the PIB Colony area.

President Zardari assured the MQM chief that he would travel to Karachi and hold a meeting regarding the security situation.
