Arsonists set two railcars on fire in Kotri

KOTRI: Unknown men have set two railcars of a passenger train on fire here in Kotri, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports, the train, which the culprits chose to turn to ashes, was platformed at the Kotri Railway Station. Reportedly the arsonists intended to destroy the train completely but succeeded in getting away with only two gutted bogies.

It took a full hour to the Railway authorities before they started extinguishing the blaze, eyewitnesses told Geo News.

Fortunately, there were no passengers on the train.

No casualties have been reported at yet.
