ISLAMABAD: Husain Haqqani, the former ambassador to US and main respondent in memo scandal, has written a letter to the BlackBerry company Research In Motion (RIM) for receiving his phone data, said his counsel Zahid Bukhar on Wednesday.
Zahid Bukhari said that Husain Haqqani by writing the letter to RIM complied with the orders of the judicial commission probing the memo scam.
The letter written to RIM requested it to send the BB data either to Husain Haqqani or his counsel Zahid Bukhari.
Bukhari said that Haqqani decided to write the letter after holding consultations with his lawyers and he would continue to implement every legal order of the commission.
Memo commission's meeting is scheduled to be held in Islamabad on Thursday where Hussain Haqqani has also been summoned.
