MULTAN: President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said the Prime Minister's son was being wrongfully implicated in narcotics case, Geo News reported.

"An attempt was made to frame me in a narcotics case in the past and now it is Prime Minister's son who is being wrongfully involved in it," the President said during his meetings with the delegations of Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians and office bearers at the residence of Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.

On formation of Siraki province, he said 'we want creation of a Siraiki province that is economically strong and stood firmly on its feet '.

He also vowed to rid the country of loadshedding before the next general elections.

Criticizing Sharif brothers, President Zardari said his party wanted to maintain a relationship of harmony and reconciliation in Punjab but their (Sharif brothers') intention was not right.

"We let them have Punjab Chief Minister's post," he claimed, saying 'had we wanted, we could have formed our own government in Punjab'. They had 138 members while we had 108 and we ourselves let the independent candidates go their way, he added.

Earlier, the President arrived in Multan by a special plane on a two-day.

The president was received by Prime Minister's son MPA Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, Federal Minister for Textiles and PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Raja Riaz, Begum Belum Husnain, other party leaders and senior officials.
