JUI-F asks govt to honor parliament resolutions

KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has demanded implementation of unanimous resolution of parliament regarding restoration of Nato supply route.

In a joint statement on Saturday Secretary General of JUI-F Sindh Chapter Dr. Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Maulana Abdul Qayum Halejvi, Maulana Abdul Kareem Abid, Maulana Muhammad Ghayas and Muhammad Aslam Ghauri said that parliament had also adopted many other unanimous resolutions before this but failed to implement it.

They warned that if the government did not implement the new resolution of parliament, it would face a wrath of public.

They also condemned life attempt on JUI-F Naib Amir of district Shikarpur, Maulana Abdullah Pahore, in which his gunmen had been shot dead, and warned if the accused were not arrested protest demos would be held across the province. (PPI)
