ISLAMABAD: Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has been appointed President Asif Ali Zardari's counsel in former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's reference pending with the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Geo News reported Sunday.
Aitzaz Ahsan has been appointed counsel in the Bhutto Reference in place of Babar Awan whose legal license was canceled by the Supreme Court in a contempt of court case.
It may be mentioned here that Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan is also the lawyer of Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani in a contempt of court case.
