CJ SHC takes notice of Karachi killings

KARACHI: The Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court has taken notice of the killing of 16 people in Karachi during the last 24 hours.

DG Rangers and IG Sindh have been directed to submit a report pertaining to the arrest of criminals involved in the killings to the court.

During the last 24 hours 16 people were killed while several others were injured in incidents of firing across the metropolis.

Meanwhile the restrictions placed on pillion riding in the city will be lifted by midnight. Provincial Home Minister Manzoor Wasan said the restriction had been lifted for the facility of the city’s residents.
